Answer: Industry Analysis and Research Design Review: Recent challenges faced by the Financial Organization are regarding the increasing competition in the Financial Companies. The management of the organization has not been able to target the right group of people (Silver-Greenberg, Goldstein Perlroth, 2014). Therefore, it can be said that their marketing is not efficient enough to target the right group of people. The Company has recent revenue of US $ 96.60 billion with a capital ratio of 11.6% (Morgan, 2014). The Company has recently sold its commodities and made the transaction excluding the oil and the metal. The Company has decided to reduce finance over the coal mines and the coal power plant in major rich countries. The focus group of people is the ones who are ready to invest in this financial organization. The bank owns five other subsidiary banks. The management of the bank focus on the reporting process and the activities related to commercial banking and investment banking. The industry is also teamed with consumer and retail health care corporations. The bank is facing intense competition from the banks like Citi Bank, Bank of America Corporation and Wells Fargo Company (Bank, 2013). The bank is also into the other financial sectors like insurance, credit and other operations. However, the bank is going under serious lacking situation that needs to be fixed. It is therefore, important to understand the customers point of view. The aim of understanding the perspective of the target group of people is to better understand of the needs of the customers (Sale, 2014). Market Research Proposal Research Problem: The aim of the research is to find an effective way of marketing to target the right group of people. Effective marketing shall help to provide competitive advantage to the organization. Research Design The proposed design of the research is: Background research Collection of secondary and primary data Data analysis Conclusion Recommendation Information required is from the recent reports and the response of the target group of people. Secondary sources available online and offline will be used. A survey method will be used for collecting primary data. Both probability and non-probability sampling technique can be used. Response from at least 100 target people shall be taken into account to get a clear understanding about the need of the people. It is based on the analysis the marketing plan can be made. Based on the analysis, statistical analysis can be done. The data can be transformed in the form of ratio or percentage. Data Analysis Both primary and secondary research will be conducted. A number of books, journals and recent reports will be taken into consideration. Apart from this, a survey will also be conducted among a target group of people. The response collected from the primary analysis will be converted into percentages and the data will be analyzed. This will make easier to evaluate the collected data.
